Dennis Goldasich is an Alabama trial lawyer whose abilities in the courtroom have been recognized since his second year of law school, where he was already achieving national recognition in awards from the American College of Trial Lawyers Award as Most Promising Trial Lawyer, as well as being an
ATLA Trial Competition National Semi-Finalist in 1995 and a National Quarter-Finalist in 1994, in the American Trial Lawyer Association’s National Trial Competitions.
Dennis has dedicated his legal career to helping others, focusing upon fighting for those who have been seriously injured by the wrongful acts of another. Dennis knows how cases are defended and how best to overcome those defenses. Dennis began his career at Maynard, Cooper & Gale, one of the finest civil defense firms in Birmingham. His heart though was in representing plaintiffs. Now in Fischer, Goldasich & Aughtman, LLC, his Birmingham partnership with longtime friends and colleagues Erby Fischer and Jay Aughtman, Dennis Goldasich advocates for both individuals and businesses who are seeking justice in Alabama courtrooms for the serious damages that they have sustained.
Dennis Goldasich is a Trial Lawyer
Dennis truly loves the courtroom and the opportunity to try cases to verdict. That love of the courtroom has translated into success. Dennis has tried to verdict cases involving automobile accidents, products liability, medical malpractice, trucking accidents, nursing home abuse and neglect, fraud, business torts and trade secrets. Still not having met the 20-year mark in his practice, Dennis Goldasich has already achieved countless victories for clients in both personal injury matters and in complex business litigation lawsuits, resulting in multi-million dollar awards in numerous cases. Dennis was lead trial counsel in a wrongful death case in Mobile, Alabama that resulted in a verdict for the plaintiff of $9 million dollars. The first two cases that Dennis and partner Erby Fischer tried together involved commercial disputes where the partners teamed to victoriously secure jury verdicts of $1 million dollars in a case involving tortious interference and $6 million dollars in a case involving trade secrets. Dennis achieves millions in client recoveries, by either settlements or verdicts, each and every year. Together, Dennis Goldasich,Erby Fischer and Jay Aughtman have already secured jury verdicts and settlement agreements valued in excess of $400,000,000.00.
Victories Achieved for Victims of Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home Neglect
Dennis has achieved extraordinary success in representing victims of medical malpractice and nursing home negligence. These cases face serious legal hurdles and many victims face difficulties finding a qualified attorney willing to accept their case. Dennis has secured millions of dollars in settlements in both medical malpractice and nursing home abuse and neglect cases.
Victories Achieved for Victims in Trucking Litigation
Dennis Goldasich has extensive experience in the representation of plaintiffs in cases involving commercial vehicles including 18-wheeler “Big Rigs” and other large commercial vehicles. Dennis has developed a thorough understanding of the special rules that apply to large interstate trucking companies. These companies are regulated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act and subject to extensive Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. An understanding of these regulations is crucial to the successful representation of plaintiffs injured in these accidents. Dennis has been recognized by his peers as a leader in this field and for many years has been selected to teach the topic to fellow lawyers at Continuing Legal Education seminars. Dennis has achieved numerous multi-million dollar jury verdicts and settlements for plaintiffs in trucking litigation.
